American dominance over Europe

Hey, how often can I type that? Great effort and I think the Galaxy could've used some of Donovan's three goals today. So Scotland isn't the cream of the crop, but it was a UEFA team. The Sounder fans are out in full force here at the Home Depot Center as Chivas USA tries for their second straight home win. So as the last home game for both Chivas USA and the Galaxy, the paper pool entry copies have been handed out.  The first email blast should be Tuesday morning after the long holiday weekend.  The site has been updated a lot so check out the new links.

First entry

We have our first official entry by Harry O.  He still needs to pick a nickname, but hopefully it'll be the first of many.  It's hard to tell if this is too niche or has broader appeal.  I know we won't get the 67 entries we got for World Cup 2012 (and nothing close to the 134 for this year's NCAA pool) but hopefully it'll be somewhere between 20 and 30 entries.  But there's still two weeks left.  Still working on an online entry system but feel free to scan/fax/email your picks.  Just pick all the round-robin games (you can pick ties!), the quarterfinal winners, the semifinal winners, and the winner (plus the total goals tiebreaker -- total goals in the 2 semifinal games and Final).
